Healthy Long Island Iced Tea Recipe
Craving the refreshing, complex flavor of a Long Island Iced Tea—but want to skip the alcohol? This zero-proof version is bright, citrusy, and totally satisfying, with a gentle sweetness and fizzy finish. Plus, it’s low in sugar and perfect for hot days, parties, or detox weeks!
Ingredients
1/2 cup brewed black tea (chilled)
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
1/4 tsp orange extract (or a splash of orange juice)
1–2 tsp maple syrup or monk fruit sweetener (to taste)
1/2 cup sparkling water or diet cola
Ice
Lemon slice and mint for garnish
Instructions
Brew a strong cup of black tea, then chill in the fridge for at least 15–20 minutes.
In a shaker or glass, mix lemon juice, lime juice, orange extract, and sweetener.
Add chilled tea and stir or shake with ice until well combined.
Pour over ice into a tall glass.
Top with sparkling water or diet cola for fizz.
Garnish with a lemon slice and mint sprig.
